We are developing a global network that provides opportunities for staff and students to learn and grow together. This may be partnerships with other colleges and schools, universities, industry professionals, start-ups and other innovation units.
Through these partnerships, we envisage a wide range of activities including the sharing of ideas and resources, collaboration projects, immersion visits, student exchange, staff exchange, flexible pathways, mentoring and GAP year programs.
SAIL currently has partnerships with schools in the USA, Japan, Scotland, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Cambodia, Thailand and Spain.
Future Ambitions is a flagship program aimed at supporting students in achieving their goals, which sometimes fall outside of the traditional school curriculum. Key to this will be partnerships with mentors from relevant industries, including business, sport, and the arts. A panel of relevant staff members meet to consider applications and provide feedback to students. All applicants will have a face-to-face meeting to discuss their application and, if unsuccessful, be guided in steps that may help if they were to re-apply in future rounds. It is important to note that all applications must contain supporting evidence.
