Future Ambitions

Future Ambitions is a flagship program aimed at supporting students in achieving their goals, which sometimes fall outside of the traditional school curriculum. Key to this will be partnerships with mentors from relevant industries, including business, sport, and the arts. A panel of relevant staff members meet to consider applications and provide feedback to students. All applicants will have a face-to-face meeting to discuss their application and, if unsuccessful, be guided in steps that may help if they were to re-apply in future rounds. It is important to note that all applications must contain supporting evidence.

The criteria:

  • The student is in Years 9 to 11 and has demonstrated an ongoing commitment to their area of achievement/passion (6 months +).
  • The student has demonstrated a high degree of competency and motivation towards the goal/s identified.
  • Parents/guardians are supportive of the application and future goals.
